Supplements taken while on MDMA causing heartburn?

We supplement with ALA, acetyl-l-carnitine, grapeseed extract, green tea extract, milk thistle, and magnesium oxide (I know, not the best source).
Some of us noted a burning feeling in our stomach after supplementing at +2 hours.
I've taken all these supplements at other times and they did not seem to cause the burning feeling.
Magnesium oxide is the supplement that my friends and I have taken the least often when not rolling, so we suspect it might be this one, but it's actually used to treat heartburn, so that doesn't make sense...

I'm sorry I linked the wrong product... The stuff we have is ALA + ALCAR.

Yes, that is racemic. I have not used that brand, but I would assume it would give the same results as the one I used. I never notice heartburn when I am just taking it alone, but I do on MDMA. My Na-R-ALA I have not noticed this effect.

You can read the actual study as well. Racemic ALA seems to cause a few issues with cystine and SAM in your liver. I'd suggest reading up on R-ALA and see if you might want to switch.
