I'm not sure on the terminology here but I mean someone that doesn't really feel empathy for others and understand emotions. What would happen?

He fascinates me. I have only met one other person like me besides him, and the other person I met was an idiot. Misread me, saw me as the person I was portraying myself to be in public rather than what was beneath, and targeted me as prey. I don't like predators fucking with me, so I took care of that situation quickly in a way that more or less satisfied me.

What I intend on doing with JohnBlind is essentially comparing notes and figuring out how similar we actually are.

If he is indeed like you, how would that affect you? Would you associate with him? I wouldn't go so far as to say bond, but perhaps take comfort in the fact that you see yourself in someone else?
