MDMA from methylone?

I was wondering if it were possible to get MDMA from methylone. Through a Wolf Kishner reduction perhaps? I don't have a solid chemistry background beyond what I've read on various forums, I'm just wondering if this is doable.

After doing some more reading, the Wolff-Kishner reduction with the Huang-Minglon modification might work. My thought was that it would damage the diether bridge in the process though. I cannot find any evidence of it being performed.
There was also another reaction I saw that could do it. Methylone and hydrogen over a nickle catalyst. Here is a source for the reaction. At this point though, I am over my head.
