What is the absolute truth behind LSD and psychosis/schizophrenia?

So about a year ago I had what some would call a psychotic break while tripping on 2 hits of LSD (read here for backstory). With me being as stubborn as I am, I would like to give LSD another go even after that terrifying experience considering I had such a delightful time with it around three times before that. But the one thing on my mind is whether or not my experience one year ago hinted at some kind of underlying psychotic disorder I might have. After reading other peoples advice on the internet it seems like this kind of trip isn't as uncommon as I thought it was and it's probably not even psychosis in the first place.
As far as mental heath goes, I'm only 17 and I've experienced depression since I was 14 and anxiety after my bad trip last year on and off and at this point they are both very manageable without medication. I have no family history of any psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia but despite that becoming "insane" is my biggest fear at the moment. Fuck, and I was just starting to enjoy weed again too. Could you provide some examples of how I'll regret it later? It's not that I don't believe you, it's just that...well...I really like weed and I feel like it would take something dire to make me stop (not good, I know). It's just really hard to look that far into the future for me.
