So, I wanna try salvia.... Advice?

I've smoked weed for several years but besides that I haven't really done anything else. Me and my friends want to try shrooms, but I thought it might be a good idea to try salvia first since the trip doesn't last near as long.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Edit: thanks for all the advice. I've decided to do shrooms first now. I'll probably do another post here soon when I do my trip. Thanks guys!

all i know is, don't get weak stuff if you really want to do salvia. If you're gonna lower than 10x, i'd just smoke weed, because it's not really the "trip" you'd expect. 40x is the strongest i've done, and that was plenty strong.

I've done 100X. With that, you completely lose all sense of reality. I've had weak ones where I just laugh and see weird things. Not with the 100X I did. I wasn't just seeing things, I was no longer in this world. I never had a bad trip though, just intense.
