Tested a sample of "MDMA" and found odd results

So My friends had a sample of this very shardy mdma so we diced to test it out with both the Mecke and the Marquis test that I had brought with me. Mad sure everything was clean , I have kept my droppers in a good environment but when I tested I found odd results.
The Mecke test came back as an orange ish color and the Marquise came back as straight yellow.
No smoke , not even remotely dark blue to black at all.
What could be up ?

EDIT: Ok, looks like either MDPP, MDPV, Methylone, Butylone, or another beta ketone.
