It was our first Halloween in the USA. We put effort into doing it right, but only three kids came to our house. Here are the pictures.

Don't feel bad. Lots of parents take their kids to parties now so they can feel safe. We are a fearful country and becoming more so especially where children are concerned. Most of the fear is misplace, based on urban myth etc. Also, some religious organizations are trying to get people off of Halloween because ya know, devil worship or whatever. Too bad. This was once a fun, more or less harmless holiday when I was a kid. Our last chance before winter to raise a little ruckus before old man winter came to visit.

Tell that to the entire west side of Phoenix that came to my neighborhood last night to save themselves $10 on Walmart candy... They just fill my neighborhood with their parked cars; some stopping in the middle of the street with their hazards on! Sometimes even the parents, who are not even dressed up, have the gall to come up and try and get more candy after their 13 children already did earlier.
