How are tariffs going to affect prices?

Aren’t the tariffs paid by the company doing the importing, not the supplier?

That's correct. They are paid by the importer. However, sometimes Chinese suppliers import the products themselves to US warehouses. In those scenarios, they pay the tariffs. They are saying they will just pass on 100% of that cost to the end buyer in those scenarios.
