How much 4-Hydroxyisoleucine in the ND fenugreek extract?

It appears that trigonelline, while a primary bioactive fraction in fenugreek, is not THE primary bioactive fraction. In fact the primary source of it's unique metabolic effects is 4-Hydroxyisoleucine, typically found in higher quantities in fenugreek than trigonelline, and is unique to fenugreek (unlike trigonelline which is found in larger quantities in certain types of coffee beans).

We did try adding 4-Hydroxyisoleucine to our amino acid assay a while back. However, there was interference with the results. It coelutes with the derivatization peak, so we have to develop all new methods for it. It's on the list.
