L-Tryptophan Capsule Question

Just received my order today, which included L-Tryptophan. Was wondering if anyone knows why it looks like little pebbles inside of the capsules?
This is my first time purchasing it from Nootropics Depot, so I just haven’t seen that before. However, when dumping out a handful, the single capsule on the bottom looks like normal white powder inside, so trying to figure out an explanation for both. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine look like pebles, too. Guess that's how it's supposed to be.
Though the odd one out there with the pure powder is indeed kind of strange.

The more powdery one is because the larger particles tend to rise to the top when agitated, and the smaller particles fall to the bottom. So when the run is put through encapsulation, the vibration in the hopper makes the similar particles sizes aggregate with each other. This means any small particles in the batch tend to stick together.
