Dihydromyricetin Capsules
* Dihydromyricetin is a natural flavonoid, which is a type of secondary metabolites that is commonly found in plants and many foods. Some of those foods include grapes and red bayberries but we still recommend supplementing to help maintain the body’s stores of Dihydromyricetin.
* Traditionally, Dihydromyricetin has been used in Chinese practices, although most commonly in southern China. Dihydromyricetin is most abundantly found in the plant Ampelopsis grossedentata, also known as vine tea. Most supplements use Dihydromyricetin that comes from this plant!

Any hints about things that would separate ND's electrolyte blend from others?

It's going to be the most advanced electrolyte on the market, and it won't even be close. Seriously, most other brands are just salty sugar water with some magnesium. They fall back on the WHO suggested oral rehydration salts (ORS) like that is gospel, but they don't even open the damn WHO report to read why they chose that simple formula!
https://iris.who.int/bitstream/handle/10665/69227/WHO_FCH_CAH_06.1.pdf?sequence=1
The ORS formula was made by the WHO to provide a standard formulation for people with diarrhoea from things like cholera and dysentery in the developing world. It was NOT developed as the ideal formula for hydration of healthy people after sports or other events where you need to have higher water intake. They state many times that ORS is a drug for treating serious dehydration from disease. How all the brands in the US decided that was the ideal formula for everyday people is just beyond me.
Here is one of their statements:
A clear distinction should be made between products recommended for treating/preventing dehydration caused by diarrhoea and preparations with compositions that are designed for replacing water and salt losses during exercise (sport drinks). In order to avoid confusion among health professionals and the population at large, it is important that manufacturers of the latter limit their commercial promotion strictly to the indication of the product and that no reference is made to their use for treating diarrhoea or cholera.
They also state that other things can be added, but that it increases cost, so they avoid it. They want ORS to be affordable and available in places like Africa to prevent people from dying.
The present price ex UNIPAC is approximately US$ 0.05 per sachet(depending on the current exchange rate), not including sea freight, land transport costs, and handling charges. Thus, depending on the country’s location and access to international transport routes, the price of an imported packet may finally vary from US$ 0.06 - 0.10. This price may be taken as a guide when evaluating local procurement or the feasibility of local ORS production.
As noted above, the main cost factor in an ORS packet is the packaging material, which in the case of laminated aluminium foil can account for 40% of the total cost of a dose for one litre. Other important factors are the required investment (depending on whether ORS production is integrated into existing facilities or established in a new independent unit), the local labour costs, and the number of packets to be produced. All of these will eventually have a direct influence on the final price of the product.
It's clear to me that all the electrolyte brands out there didn't even read the WHO report they base their formula on. You know what we did? We started from scratch, and researched all the electrolytes and trace minerals you lose when you sweat. That's what our formulation is made using. It will replace all the little things you lose to sweat. It's crazy to me that nobody else out there has done that. They just use the cheap and basic WHO ORS formula, and sell it for 95% margins to unsuspecting consumers thinking they are getting the ideal formula, when they are getting the WHO's opinion of a cheap drug to help Africans dying of cholera. We are not selling the cheapest formula made for African children dying of cholera. We are going to be selling the most advanced electrolyte on the market for healthy people to rehydrate from things like sports, and to replace all the things they lose when sweating.
