I just stumbled upon a 2023 paper in Nature regarding this neat molecule. It’s effects on metabolism, particularly vis. mitochondrial biogenesis, seem appealing: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-023-27914-8

Tried L-BAIBA a couple years ago from a brand called Alpha Lion, and it might’ve accelerated recovery and made recomping more efficient, however just due to the name Alpha Lion, I’d rather not go back that company.
