MicroMag Fake or Mistake on the Bottle?
Original post in this thread

I bought my MicroMag from Amazon and ensured the seller was Nootropics Depot (sold by: Nootropics Depot). The bottle has, “optimized zinc” beneath the MicroMag description - picture attached. Is this fake? I followed the instructions the owner said about making sure it said sold by Nootropics Depot for the purchase.

Yes I wrote that - 1 for morning 1 in evening. I put that on my supplements when to take them. When I get back home I can provide the lot number

Nothing to worry about. It's just a misprint. One single lot of 90ct Micromag bottles that were printed for Amazon had zinc on the front. I think someone on my graphics team got sloppy, and used a Microzinc label as a template. We've already pulled back the inventory from Amazon, and will relabel them. I can replace your bottle if you would prefer, but I checked the master batch record and traveler, and it's all fine. It's real Micromag. Just a stupid misprint. I'll be having a meeting with the team next week to figure out how it got past 10 sets of eyes without being caught. I even pulled up the physical sign-off sheets. There are initials next to the main text, and every line of the Supplement Facts panel, but no initials next to "Optimized Zinc." They must have had tunnel vision and didn't even look at the second line. I'll be making sure we force initial sign-offs for every variable line going forward. Sorry for the confusion!
