How can you decide what to buy?

I think Nootropics are one of the most confusingcommunities in existence, where one thing can be..anything, really.
Take Cordyceps, some feel energy,
Some feel tired, some can’t sleep, some take it for sleep. Maybe you need 1:1 instwad of 1:1 but maybe not.
Same for any supplement. Anything can and will be attributed to any and at least one person will have a SCARY story.
The more I research ( aka read threads on a supplement) the less i am sure of it..
How do you do it?
Advice?
Thanks!

You know what I do? I find out what's the most popular but also most contested (some feel tired and some feel energetic). Then I buy one of them and see how I feel. Which ever way I feel, I go back into the anecdotal reviews, find out who feels the same way and stalk their post history for positive anecdotes of other ND supplements and buy them.

There is some truth to that. Generally there are groups of people that react in a similar fashion to things. It's not a rule without exceptions, but /u/Pretty-Chill and I react pretty similarly to most things. This includes the things we like, and the things we get bad side effects from.
