Does alcohol defense cause future hangovers to be worse? In this review below, someone mentions that once your body uses exogenous enzymes to break down alcohol, then your liver would dip its own production of those enzymes. He anecdotally became more alcohol intolerant afterwards. Can someone confirm or deny this? u/MisterYouAreSoDumb or u/Pretty-Chill or anyone else

Yeah I know that this isn't solid evidence that his argument is true. I just don't have enough knowledge to confidently say the other direction either, so I was hoping for someone more knowledgable to give their input (calling u/MisterYouAreSoDumb or u/PrettyChill pls if you're free 馃檹)

That dude is talking about a different product called No Days Wasted, and saying it has DHM like ours. No idea if what they claim is in the product even is. The evidence on DHM actually says the opposite of what he claims. It up-regulates beneficial liver enzymes over time.
