My Fenugreek Experience

I added fenugreek to my stack 3 weeks ago at 1 capsule per day and I’ve gotta say there have been positives but more negatives for me.
As far as the positives go, I did notice a bit of a mood boost and also a lowering of my blood pressure into normal range of 120/80 (I usually hover around 130/90, even on my BP medicine). I have felt like I have had good, sustained energy throughout the day as well (no 2pm crash).
The negatives were surprising though. Fenugreek really lowered my sex drive a lot (I assume through some hormonal change), cause me to have erectile disfunction for the first time in my life as a 30yo male, and caused a good bit of acne, which I haven’t had much of since I was a teenager. Also, I smell strongly of maple syrup, which isn’t a negative but I just wanted to add that in.
Has anyone else had this kind of experience with Fenugreek or am I just an oddball?

I think it’s libido benefits are related to estrogen in some way. I have low estrogen in general and it always cranks my libido up a fair bit (annoying level). It’s really pleasant for mood for me as well and just makes me more resilient and have less woes. Honestly my joints feel “safer” as well. So this would be consistent if your estrogen levels are already mid-high - acne, oily, ED, etc. I don’t feel the NDMA antagonism much, or at least similar to others.
Sadly it definitely fucks up my gut a bit. No actual indigestion but my shits make me sad for the 24 or so hours after taking it. Might try to add it before or after certain things to negate this effect. I haven’t taken many things that I felt such positive benefits all around, but I get too worried I’m not digesting well and that’s pretty much the pinnacle of my focus.

Maybe we can do a liposome/phytosome to fix the GI issues. Let me think about it.
