Is Infini-C (or it's ingredients) verifiably slow-release?

Original post in this thread

I noticed that the page still doesn't mention the slow release aspect of this. Just wondering if there's some issue with verifiability or something that's preventing adding that? I can't seem to find any studies about mineral ascorbates releasing more slowly, but I'm assuming theyre out there. Links to studies/data are appreciated!

Also, for the ND team, the skin health stack on the bottom of that page incorrectly refers to Injuv as collagen!

That's a shame, vitamin c may not be exciting but it is something even your grandma would consistently buy (365 infini-c bottle please), it is so mainstream. But the margins which is why I am guessing you only made infini-c because you wanted it yourself.

If I could be so bold, if you aren't going to step into the arena how far would you trust companies like this claiming a 5-7 hour breakdown of their vitamin c product? They claim their method of slowing the release is "Nutrients are embedded in a tablet matrix (core) made of vegetable wax" Is that just outrageous or plausible?

You already have the simulated gastric environment for the enteric testing, if you tested this company's products and they passed? Well you could possible start stocking some of their range and keep them honest at the same time.

That's why we made Infini-C. It's the best vitamin C out there that even your grandma would take. I think the buffered mineral salts will give enough of a time release effect, without having to resort to controlled release matrices. Furthermore, I have seen some data that extended release vitamin C just doesn't absorb as well, so it can be difficult to justify without hard data showing the pharmacokinetics. I would bet my left nut that company has done zero pharmacokinetic testing on their C. Ask them. See if they provide any lab data on it. I would be very surprised if they did. I mean, they are making pretty solid claims. They should have hard data proving those claims, but I bet they don't.
