Why 2x a day for Meriva?

All other curcumin offerings are listed with a suggested dosage taken once a day, while Meriva suggests twice a day. Am I missing out greatly if I only take it once a day like I have been with the other products?

Take what has been working well for you. Don't adjust just because you read something. Often time we are under TMLAs for patented products, or trademark licensing agreements. Those specify what we are required to say in marketing and on labels with regard to a patented product. Many even specify the dosages we have to use in specific forms. Sometimes those TMLAs are dictated by the research the company has done. Other times they are more marketing and legal. It just depends.
