Consumerlab report on Chocamine

Just came across a recent Consumerlab report on Flavanol content in different chocolate products including supplements. It’s behind a paywall but here is the link:
I like them as a third party testing company and sometimes use them for things like choosing the best Chocolate to eat etc. this is the first time they have tested an ND product to my knowledge. I know ND doesn’t claim that their product Chocamine has the highest flavanols, and is geared more towards other compounds such as threobromine. What still surprised me how low the flavanol content was for ND compared to Cocoavia (2.4mg vs 993 mg !!) . In addition, ND had worse cadmium level in comparison as well. Just curious to hear thoughts from people here and ND’s team.

I was surprised by this report as well, but I decided to investigate further.
I don't see anything on the product page about flavanol content. The cadmium level is 1.28% of the safe daily limit.
The product page advertises benefits from compounds which are not flavanols. I don't see where Nootropics Depot did anything wrong.

You should ask yourself why there were only two products in the cocoa supplement group: one from Mars Candy that is specifically meant for flavanols, and ours that isn't... That's ConsumerLab's idea of a comprehensive test?!? Pick two supplements, and only test for the standardization on one of them, and completely ignore the standardization of the other?
