Completely understand where you're coming from, I commend you for trying to make the best out of a shitty situation, and even communicating openly about it. PM'd you my order num.
Just an idea, would your merchant be able to request Strong Customer Authentication during checkout? Currently it's up to the debit/credit card issuing bank's algos if they request a biometric confirmation for a transaction before letting it go through, but if there's a way to force it from your merchant's time in every case that would be a huge step towards reducing fraud from European stolen card infos (as I believe SCA is only EU).

I can check on that. The limitation would be if our merchant integration with Bigcommerce supports it. We have found limitations there, too. Sometimes I wish we went with Shopify when I started the company, as they seem to get all the developer support these days.
