I have used ND's maca extract for a solid week now following the dosage guidelines. I usually take it with my other AM supps at breakfast that include pomella daily and cistanche and ginkgo on alternating days.
To start, I should mention that I have tried most supplements under the sun typically suggested for libido in the past 15 years and nothing has really stuck. Honorable mentions for cistanche and uridine/DHA stack for indirectly supporting. But here's the rub: besides cannabis and alcohol nothing else has RELIABLY put me in the mood like ND maca. My wife and I already have a great love life but it's one of those things for us where "more" is actually more. We have gone from the usual 4-6 days, once a day to 7 days multiple times a day. Luckily I haven't worn her out!! This weekend my wife is planning to try it for herself to see if she has similar results.
That said the other noticeable effect I get is general cheerfulness and willingness to engage others in conversation. One may surmise more sex will make anyone more cheerful but I actually feel positive vibes about an hour after ingestion regardless. I really like pomella, except I can only take it sparingly as it always causes diarrhea after a couple days. Even at a half dose. Any advice to make it more comfortable for my gut?

Hmm, I will have to research a bit on that one. Normally pomegranate prevents diarrhea. I wonder if it is something to do with your microbiome. Do you take any probiotics?
