Just wondering when fish oils like Accelon or EZ mega 3 are coming back. I've tried both AvailOms and they're not as good as the oils. I use fish oils for my joints and I don't get nearly the same relief with AvailOm as I did with the fish oils. Accelon was by far my favorite.
Thanks in advance ND team!

Hey MYASD, just wondering if you have any opinion on prescription fish oils like Vacepa? Is FDA approval a rubber stamp to quality and does it really mean they’re better than OTC fish oil? Thanks! Can’t wait for the 70% DHA to come back… did wonders for me.

The FDA doesn't test quality. A lot of people have that misconception. Even the FDA regulations don't really deal with quality control processes. It's more about documentation of processes and following them. Whether or not the processes are resulting in a higher quality product is not something the FDA deals with.
Regarding Vascepa specifically, that's just EPA ethyl ester. There is nothing special about it, and it doesn't even contain DHA. They even extract it from normal fish oil, so it is just a very expensive EPA only ethyl ester fish oil.
