Thanks for the reply. Just so you guys know, there is transcription software that can automate that process. Would help a lot for those of us who can't listen to a podcast for 3 hours but would still like information!

We tried that for our first few episodes, but because everything we were talking about was very specialized and scientific, it messed up a lot. This made it so we had to effectively go in and manually fix the entire transcription. This took forever! The auto transcription tools can be useful for normal stuff, but for scientific discussion it can be not as good. We'd probably have to pay for a manual transcription service.
