Vitamin E in IU units?
Original post in this thread

Is there a conversion of the 73mg of the optimized vitamin E in IU?
If I was recommended to take 400 IUs of Vitamin E, what would be an equivalent in mg?
Also is IU to mg conversation dependent on the substance or is it like converting kg to mg? If it’s dependent, what is the approximate conversion for ND’s specific formulation?

The FDA says to stop using IU, so we don't. The equivalent of ours would be 100IU. This is the dose we feel is safe for vitamin E. 400 IU is too much, IMO. That's due to the increased risks of cancer at higher doses.
