Suggestion for new product releases

Hello everyone!
This is a suggestion for the moderators of the sub.
I think it would be a good idea, when a new product is released, to create a thread for people to post about it. For example "Celastrus Paniculatus Experiences". And pin them for a while. That way, reviews about each products would be concentrated in one single thread, making it easier for people to find reports on them and reducing the amount of posts on the sub.

It's not a bad idea. However, we are releasing a LOT of new products at the moment. We just released four new ones. On the 21st we will release four more. That email will be going out on Thursday to everyone on our email list. So we are talking a lot of pinned posts that will be overlapping with each other. Also, I think it is a good idea to give people time to see how they react. Initial reports can be somewhat useful, but the real beneficial anecdotes are from people that take a little more time with the products before writing a review. I don't want to encourage everyone to make day one reviews before they have had a real chance of seeing how they respond.
What might work would be a pinned post a few weeks after a release asking for people's feedback. That gives people time to get their orders and have a real go of trying it first. We would just have to probably group some of the products together in that pinned post, or it might get out of hand. Imagine a week where we have a new podcast episode coming out, a new product release email going out, then four separate pinned posts for feedback on products we released a few weeks prior. That's six pinned posts at once. Is that going to overload people? I guess this is just the issue with an aggressive release schedule like we have right now. Always a new post coming!
