I don’t understand this labeling. The front says 800mg, how much should I be taking every night for anxiety and sleep? Kind of new to the game so that’s why this is confusing me.

We always put the "Suggested Use" on the bottle. Magnesium is a bit different, as it has an RDI. That is a recommended daily allowance from the FDA. This means that things with RDAs have to be listed on the Supplement Facts box in a specific way. In magnesium's case, that means listing the elemental magnesium per serving. Each of these capsules has 800mg of magnesium glycinate in them. A serving is two 800mg capsules, giving you 1,600mg magnesium glycinate. However, magnesium glycinate is a chelate with one magnesium molecule and two glycine molecules bound together. So the glycine is a big part of that weight. This means that 12-14% of the total weight is elemental magnesium. Since magnesium has an RDI, and we have to list the elemental magnesium for it because of that, it says 200mg per serving. I spoke about it recently.
For anything we sell, the Suggested Use will give you a good starting place. So in this case, taking two capsules before bed is a good place to start.
