ACCELON Fish Oil Tastes Rancid?

I chewed a capsule to taste for freshness. It has the most disgusting rancid tasting oil I’ve ever tasted! It barely resembles fish oil at all.
Anyone know if Accelon is supposed to taste different due to its micellar technology or is it indeed rancid?

Accelon uses polysorbate 20 in the formula, which has a bitter taste. That might be what you are tasting. It certainly will taste different than other fish oils. I have not personally tried to bite a softgel, though. I will try one in a bit. We test everything for peroxide values before okaying them for sale.
