For the past almost two years, many people's lives have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether that's from direct health issues, or from the lock-downs and economic effects it has had, it's safe to say that everyone's lives have been changed in some way. Some of you may have become ill yourselves. Many have even lost friends and family members. Unfortunately, this includes multiple people on the Nootropics Depot team. Even if you have not personally lost anyone to this pandemic, everyone's lives have been affected to such a degree that discussion surrounding it has become a very emotional topic. That's completely understandable. How can one not have strong emotions about what has gone on? To add even more complexity to the situation, bad data and misinformation has run rampant. Many have politicized the pandemic and have used the situation to further their own ends. A lot of what I have seen for the past almost two years has disappointed me greatly. I realize that fear, confusion, anger, resentment, and other emotions can make rational discourse a lot more difficult... if not impossible. With all due respect, that's the one part 9f your statement that I also have issue with. And I dont need to change anyone's mind. I need them to be vaccinated. Through any means possible. Force is fine with me. The government compels people by force All. The. Time. about much less important things. In fact your post here is in fact all about how they government could use their police power and forcibly compel you to cease operation if you don't follow precise guidelines. Are those particular rules overbearing and counterproductive? Yes. But that doesnt mean the government should be unable to ever use compulsion. Because I absolutely endorse the police powers of government be used to prevent needless deaths. The founding fathers agreed. This country exists because Washington enforced a small pox quarantine and required his troops be inoculated during their training. The British didn't and their forces were weakened by disease.

The government is the one with the power and authority to do that, not me. I don't have the authority to, nor do I think I should be responsible for, forcing people. Even so, almost every employee of Nootropics Depot is vaccinated. That was all accomplished without force, compulsion, or incentivization. People chose to on their own. Everyone still also wears masks while in any of our facilities. That's one thing I do feel I have the authority to mandate, at least while people are on ND property.
