Nobody is synthesizing yuanzhi-1, and my blog writing team copying a structure incorrectly is hardly indicative of quality control procedures in the production department. I will certainly bring it up with the blog writing team, though. Them not being experts in chemistry isn't all that surprising, honestly. If I had the people in the company with chemistry degrees writing blogs, that would be an inefficient use of their time. I am sure the blog writing team just copied a structure they could find when writing it, or modified one without understanding the structure. I will have my lab director look over the chemical structures before they publish blogs from now on.
Now if we had the blog writing team synthesizing things in the lab, then you should be worried.
