New international shipping trackability

Its not trackable? By not trackable i mean when its leave us its not traceable anymore?
The tracking number i got is UM\\\\\*\*US. Which not really valid international tracking number and from previous experience with other shipping not from ND with such tracking numbers they are not trackable outside of US

Like any other international untracked mail, like USPS first class that starts with LC*/LJ*
Tracking work inside country and than new one only assigned at the destination country ( and between that could be a lot of other countries). And you will never know new track that assigned in destination country as it's not registered anywhere in connection to old, it will be just local tracking number inside country. So once it's left origin country you know nothing

Ohh, we don't send untracked. That's an option with Asendia that is cheaper, but we went with the higher level trackable service. Customers would flip out if we sent the lower end Asendia without tracking. LOL
