The new product drop is here! Would love to hear about benefits and other deets from the mods

Yeah, for sure. I totally understand that. That's why I told people what it was on the thread the other day, so people wouldn't be disappointed. We had some discussions around this last week, in fact. I think we are going to modify the new product release page a bit depending on whether or not we already carry the ingredient in powder form. If it is something in capsules that we already have in powder, we are just going to list it on the page with the countdown. The reason we put this countdown page in place was to keep people more informed about when new things were coming out. It's doing a good job of that, but I also don't want to needlessly disappoint people, so we will be tweaking things as time goes on. This was just our first launch of it. It won't be its final form.

The other thing people here might not know is that Reddit is now a small part of our customer base. It's weird to think, but it is true. We started here on Reddit, and this is where we interact with the most people. However, our data shows Redditors are actually a pretty small part of our total customer base these days. Sometimes it doesn't feel like it, because I am always on here talking to everyone. People here are more advanced than the average customer of ours, too. It only stands to reason that people interested enough to subscribe to our subreddit are generally looking for more advanced and exciting things. This might not excite people here as much, but it does excite other parts of our customer base. We have to try and balance things. It's also why I am more open with people here on Reddit. I know that I can clue people into things here on Reddit without really spoiling it for the majority of our customers. So far the feedback from people has been positive on this release structure, and our daily subscriptions to our newsletter have doubled, which is pretty crazy. I think with some tweaking this new structure will be really helpful for everyone.
