Looking at buying my next bottle of Ubiquinol from ND but it's significantly more expensive than getting Jarrow brand from Amazon.
Is there a compelling reason to pay more to get this from ND?
Thank you!

Really wish ND would rethink parts of the business model. The powder tub options are going away more and more. Its fine that people like to buy pills premade, but now we dont even get the option to buy the more economical powder format. There will always be a point where your pricing will be so high that you will cut out such a large portion of customers that you are actually losing money. It seems ND might be heading that direction whenever I see some of the prices on some of the newer products. I wonder sometimes if the investment can be made back at a slower rate while at the same time the brand builds and the customer base grows... often I breathe out and order from some place cheaper.

We haven't removed any powder options. What are you referring to? Are you referring to some of the really potent novel things we have released recently? That's more do to with safety than anything. I want to judge how people respond to things before we give them jars of them that enable them to possibly make a mistake on measuring, and take 10X more than they were trying to. If I feel it is safe and prudent to do powder jars, we always will. Our automated jar filling line makes is easy for us. There's no reason not to if I give the okay.
Regarding Doctor's Best, they were bought out by a Chinese company in 2016. They manufacture many things in China now, and we just can't compete with that because of labor and overhead costs. It's much much cheaper to have a manufacturing plant in China than it is to have one here in the US paying Americans a living wage. We try very hard to be the best price if we can, but sometimes the numbers they can make work by doing it in China are just impossible for us to do properly here. I am not going to cut corners or try to cheap out on labor costs just to try and compete with these large Chinese companies. Even if I was a bad person and wanted to try, I would lose that battle. They have the CCP backing them, and the Chinese government even subsidizes some of the costs to prevent American companies from being able to compete. China is trying as hard as they can to become the dominant force on the planet, and they are doing it in every industry they possibly can. If consumers only look at costs, they are going to win, too. If you value getting the cheapest price above all else, then in 10 years time it will only be Chinese companies you are buying from. I am spending shitloads of money right now to build out our synthesis lab in the EU to get as far away from China as we can. We take care of our employees, pay them well, and ensure they have job security. We have full-time American workers building careers here, not just shifting to where we can make labor costs the cheapest. If that's something you want to support, great! Buying from us supports that.
