It is standardized to mesembrenone, which is less common than mesembrine. However, there is recent research that mesembrine might actually be better.

I have thought about trying to grow our own kava here in Phoenix. I think the environment would be suitable for it, and we can certainly make it for cheaper than Zembrin, that's for sure!
