Can anyone help me with calibrating the nootropics depot scale?

The box indicates that it was calibrated to .004...however I saw the delivery driver toss and drop it and the closest reading I get is .015 off.
The booklet says to hold the ON button for 3 seconds to enter calibration mode. But when I do this the scale shuts off after 3 seconds every time.
Anyone else dealt with this?

One of the biggest issues that can affect these scales is grounding. You want the scale grounded, or static interference will affect its accuracy. We found that was especially true on certain surfaces. You want it on a stable and level surface that is electrically grounded.
