Is there a baseline amount of EGCG I need to take in order to make 5 HTP safe?

I want to take 5 htp and Tyrosine twice a day and know I need to get some EGCG in order to keep the 5 htp from converting too fast before is crosses the BBB as well as protect my heart.
However I am also concerned about liver damage from EGCG, and as I understand it I will be fine as long as I keep the dosage to 800mg a day or less. That would give me 400mg max for each of my 2 daily doses.
I am trying to figure out the lowest amount of EGCG I can take in order to make the 5 htp work correctly and safely but also avoiding liver damage.
What are your thoughts?

Remember, 800mg per day of EGCG. If you are taking a 45-50% extract, which is what everyone sells, you can double those limits. So it would take 1,777mg of our EGCG extract to reach the daily amount in the risk category.
Just take 500mg with the 5-HTP and you will be fine.
