We are restocking, but I can't give a date. We had a new batch come in, but it tested at 23% bacosides. I know it sucks that we have to reject for such a small difference, but I do not want to get into the habit of approving on deviation. That's the shitty part about having very strict high standards. You can't just bend the rules because you are close. It makes it difficult sometimes to keep things in stock, but I want people to know that when we give a number, that number is accurate and validated to the highest level.
The main issue is that the suppliers in India are using a degraded reference standard for their assays. So when they doing their HPLC assays, the numbers can be inflated to reality. We use fresh Sigma Aldrich standards measured to the microgram. So our numbers are VERY accurate. We are trying to send our reference standards over to India for them to start using those, but COVID-19 has completely shut down all outbound and inbound freight there. It has made it difficult. However, we are working very hard to get more in that meets or exceeds our specs.
