My older jar purchased months ago had pinkish color.
My new jar has a more earth tone copper color.

New source? Improvements?

Natural extracts are going to vary when they are in the 1% to roughly 80% regions. To reach the standardization you are shooting for, 50% EGCG in this case, you might have to use more or less of the plant. So you are going to have varying levels of other plant material in there between batches, which can affect color, smell, and taste. As you start getting higher in extraction levels you start to see more uniformity; with anything over 95% pretty much being completely uniform. That's because it is such a potent standardization that you are no longer left with much of the plant material. It's nothing to worry about. Natural extracts are going to vary between batches. We HP-TLC for species, plant part, and extraction method to ensure things are right, then UPLC for EGCG content. If anything was off, we would absolutely see it on the plates and on the chromatogram.
