Just a reminder regarding customs laws:

This is a reminder for people ordering nootropics in the Eastern Bloc: even if you think it's legal and you checked the relevant laws... it might not be.
I usually order nootropics internally, but this time I wanted to try Adrafinil and Coluracetam, products which I couldn't find in Romania, so I ordered from ND.
Checking the illicit drugs law and the prescription meds law, all seemed fine. Yet here I was, in front of the customs office, being told that I might be fined with up to 2000$ for an international order of high risk doping drugs according to an anti-doping law that no layman could've known about.
I asked for the law, read it and, well, ignorantia juris non excusat.
Adrafinil and most racetams are considered, according to the law's table, "high risk doping substances with atypical stimulent properties" along with amphetamine and cocaine (which are already restricted according to the illicit drugs law, so for what reason are those also included in the anti-doping law??)
From where did they get the idea that those nootropics are of the same high risk as cocaine?
I somehow talked them out of prosecuting because, let's be honest, the minimum wage in Romania is around…

Jesus... Sorry to hear they were being so irrational. Let me check with the team and see if we have been having any other issues to Romania. Looks like us getting our EU facility up a running should happen sooner rather than later. If we have to shut off shipping of certain things to Romania, or ensure the word nootropics is not on the customs forms, we certain will.
