Concern about residue solvents and impurities in amino acids

I read on a forum that amino acid supplements should be avoided because harsh toxic solvents are used in the fabrication process and that residue is pretty much unavoidable. I use your taurine and carnosine and am a bit concerned as Ive been using them consistently and longterm. Do you check for solvent residue? Is there truth in the idea that amino acids have particularly high solvent residue?

Although the technical details went over my head, in house solvent residue testing definitely sounds exciting. Just one last question about carnosine in particular: are class 1 solvents used in the fabrication process? A French lab from whom I've bought carnosine before explained that a particularly harsh solvent is used in the cheaper synth methods.

No, absolutely not. No class 1 solvents are used in any of our products. Not even really any class 2 solvents. Class 3 solvents are the most common, with ethanol being by far the most used.
I use our products, too. I personally take our L-carnosine every day. So not only am I setting tight specs for our customers, but I am doing it because it directly affects my health as well. We set much tighter specs than pretty much anyone else out there, and my team and I pour through the research to fully understand the possible contaminants in each products, and how to test to ensure they are not there.
