Longvida is better, for sure. It's just more expensive. So we have the option of curcumin and piperine for those that are mainly focused on the peripheral body effects of curcumin, and don't care so much about it reaching the brain. Plus, most of the "curcumin" on the market is actually just cheap tumeric with a little bit of curcumin added in to trick people. Go look at all the top selling Amazon "curcumin" products. They are all mostly cheap tumeric with like 150mg curcumin added in. However, their labels say shit like "1,500mg tumeric curcumin" "highest potency" "1950mg" and shit like that, but it is all lies to confuse you. They are all misleading people and violating FDA guidelines in the process. Amazon doesn't give a shit. We have notified them multiple times. The companies don't care, because they are selling a shitload to people who don't know any better. My grandma doesn't know the difference between tumeric and curcumin, and they profit off that. It's disgusting. That's why we offer 1,000mg of ACTUAL CURCUMIN and piperine for a good price. So at least people have an alternative, even if we will never be able to compete with their shady tactics to get to the top of Amazon with it.
I've used both Longvida and curcumin/piperine for long periods. Longvida definitely works better for me. If money is not a problem, Longvida is the better choice. If you are price sensitive, the curcumin/piperine capsules are a good lower cost option.
