Just wondering if this has ever came up. To see a fairly standardized HGW product containing sufficient Icariin would be nice. Rodent studies implicated that it may reduce “neuroinflammation” and accordingly dimming the symptoms of certain neurological issues.
That’s far fletched, but it may have benefits in other ways. If I recall correctly, it may have had anti-depressive properties, in humans and from experience. Not just rodents. It was an interesting one. The only concern I have with HGW is that PDE5 ligands can cause heart problems (need to double check on the issue), but I don’t think it’s speculated mild PDE5 activity would cause an issue in practice.
