Careful, my CC got hacked following an order with ND.

Be safe when ordering from them, never happened before but now someone charged my CC its entire balance after my ND order.
I would suggest people use BTC or other safe methods (like disposable CC) to purchase and avoid fraud. ND has great service and selection so this thread is not intended to bash them, but raise awareness.

There is almost zero chance it had anything to do with your order on our site. We do not store any customer payment info on any of our systems. It all goes through a secure SSL connection to our bank through the NMI gateway. That's one of the largest payment gateways in the world. Unless someone hacked their systems, or our bank's systems, it is very unlikely that is how your car info was compromised. It's also very unlikely that NMI or our bank was hacked.
Credit card fraud is rampant right now. Thieves are getting very creative in how they get people's data. I had my card number stolen 3 times in a single year, and I barely use it on anything. The Equifax breach led to 209,000 people's credit card numbers being stolen. Marriott just recently admitted to a breach that led to 500 million customer's card data being exposed. Bank of America was recently breached as well. We do not store any payment data for this very reason. Even if you did breach our systems, there is no payment information for anyone to get. It's all handled directly with your browser and the processing bank through an SSL connection and the NMI gateway.
We process tens of thousands of orders a month. There are bound to be people that end up having their card info stolen from another avenue around the time they place an order with us. That's just a statistical likelihood. That does not mean it was the order on our site that caused the breach, though. There is no real way for it to happen on our systems.
